DIV II: Job well done Christina!

The national competition DIV II was held in all the way down in Invercargill this year, with a lone competitor from Kiwi West Christina Leong travelling down for the competition.

The long flight proved to extremely fruitful for Christina who picked up several medals and three National Age Group times for the 200m Backstroke, 100m Butterfly and 200m Butterfly

  • 1st (Gold Medal) 100m Butterfly – 1:11.84
  • 1st (Gold Medal) 200m Butterfly – 2:44.10
  • 2nd (Silver) 400m Free – 4:58.13
  • 3rd (Bronze) 200m Backstroke – 2:38.76
