A big thanks to all who helped out at our Junior Carnival meet at the Freyberg Community pool on Sunday. We appreciate the help from both club members and the officials and timekeepers from other clubs. It was also great to have some senior Kiwi West swimmers helping to run our meet.

We had 18 swimmers in the pool – and all achieved one or more top 10 placings. Together our team won:

• 23 x Gold medals
• 20 x Silver medals
• 16 x Bronze medals
• 8 x 4th Place Ribbons
• 8 x 5th Place Ribbons
• 3 x 6th Place Ribbons

Kiwi West Aquatics retained the West End Trophy (club points cup) for the most points scored over both of our annual meets. This award was presented by Michael Pound and accepted on behalf of the club by Maia Phillips.
