How to End Club Membership?


Here are instructions – depending on your situation:

Changing Clubs within the Manawatu Region

  • Is there anything the club or coach can do to assist you to continue swimming?
  • Would you like the committee or coach to make contact with you to discuss any issues or ideas? We appreciate your feedback.

Once you’ve done this – if you still want to move, please follow the same steps as Moving Region or Country.

 

Change of Situation – Ending Swimming

If you have decided to stop swimming or permanently retire:

  • Please send an email to kiwitreasurer@gmail.com:
    • Indicating if you want to stop temporarily or permanently (so we can lapse your membership)
    • Requesting a final statement.
  • Please let the coach know in person or by email to coach@kiwiwest.org.
  • When you get your final statement
    • If there is a credit on your account – please let us know:
      • Your bank account details if you want a refund.
      • If you would like to settle any credit as a donation to the club.
    • If money is owing on your account – please settle this ASAP.

 

Moving Region or Country

If you are changing region or moving to another country:

  • Login to Swimming NZ Fastlane and submit a request to transfer.
  • Please send an email to kiwitreasurer@gmail.com:
    • Requesting a final statement.
  • When you get your final statement
    • If there is a credit on your account – please let us know:
      • Your bank account details if you want a refund.
      • If you would like to settle any credit as a donation to the club.
    • If money is owing on your account – please settle this ASAP.
      We will not approve your transfer until outstanding money has been paid.
  • Please remember to return club trophies and cups that you have. Easier to do this before you leave.
